Pittsburgh Youth Chorus – Summer Singers Day Camp
This fun-filled camp experience for children (7 – 10 years of age in our Pittsburgh location) and (7 – 11 years of age in our Grove City location) will delight any budding young singer! Children learn and practice fundamental vocal skills that lead to healthy singing. Each day is filled with fun musical activities and special guests to stimulate their musical interests.
Children are encouraged to share their individual musical talents (and learn to be a good audience) through daily “Break Time Recitals.” The social experience is further enhanced by theme days that include School Spirit Day, Pet Picture Day, and Crazy Hat Day! At the end of the week, parents are invited to attend a demonstration to learn about the week’s activities.
Auditions are on Friday following the demonstration for any child who would like to audition for placement into PYC!!
Tuition Assistance is available to those with demonstrated need.
