Andrew brings extensive professional performance experience to his teaching. He regularly plays with the
Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra, Wheeling Symphony Orchestra (WV), River City Brass Band, and many other ensembles. In 2016, he graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master of Music in Horn Performance.
Andrew loves to inspire growth in his horn students, who range in level from beginning to advanced, grades 5 through 12. Many of his students participate in such activities as Three Rivers Young People’s Orchestras, Pittsburgh Youth Concert Orchestra, Pittsburgh Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, and the various honors band opportunities provided by the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association. Andrew plans to offer a studio-wide recital, level-specific horn ensemble days, and other group activities for students/families to meet eachother, have fun, and grow together!
Andrew is available to teach at his home in Crafton, at student’s homes, or at PYCO School of Music in Wexford.
