Why Singing in a Choir Makes You Happier
Many of our choirs are starting back this week after the holidays, and we’re sure that these young singers are looking forward to learning new music, meeting old (and perhaps new!) friends, and continuing to improve their vocal skills. On the surface, its not hard to see why being surrounded by friends with a similar passion and beautiful music can make a singer happy. But this really cool article digs deeper to explain, scientifically, what’s going on in our brains when we sing in a group.
