Practice Makes Perfect Music Studio Broadway Bunnies Summer Camp

July 29-August 2, 10:00-12:00 PM daily

Ages 3-8

Tuition: $150

Broadway Bunnies  is a musical theater class for ages 3-8. The class features activities that focus around exploring movement, dancing, singing, and acting games to start to explore the world of music and movement! We feature activities like dress up and pretend play, parachute songs, singing in rhythm, matching pitches and singing infront of peers! Early exposure to music, movement and dancing encourages students to develop confidence, listening, and speaking development and having a ton of fun doing it!

PYCO Chamber Music Camp

• July 29 – August 2, 9:00-2:00 PM daily
• Ages 13 and up
• PYCO School of Music (150 Lake Drive, Wexford, PA, 15090)
• Tuition: $425

​Join us for a week of fantastic opportunities! Develop your own musicianship skills. Immerse yourself into every aspect of performance. Work with distinguished faculty & guests​. Perform in a small chamber orchestra with new friends.

Greater Pittsburgh Suzuki Institute Summer Camp

• August 5-9, 9:00-4:00 PM daily
• Ages 6 and up

Students will have 6 hours of classes per day, including:

• Masterclass on their instrument

• Group class on their instrument

• Music Games for students in Suzuki Book 1 or 2

• Technique class for students in Suzuki Books 3+

• Dalcroze Eurhythmics

• Afro-Carribean Dancing

• Visual Art

Lewis Music Studio Adventure Piano Camp

• August 5-9, 9:00-12:00 PM daily
• Tuition: $225

Adventure Piano Camp is for beginners who already have some experience under their belt.  This camp will use fun, games, activities, and time at the keyboard to reinforce vocabulary, rhythm, and reading skills.  In addition, campers will learn a piece of music to perform for family members at the end of the week with a small group of other students.  This ensemble playing experience is vital for pianists who have very little opportunity to play with others.  Parents can join us at the end of the week for a performance of what we learned this week!

Lewis Music Studio Kaleidoscope Piano Camp

• August 5-9, 9:00-2:00 PM daily
• Tuition: $299

Kaleidoscope Piano Camp is for intermediate and advanced students.  Some of the goals for this camp will be to improve creativity and improvisation, practice playing in duet and ensemble settings, and to improve motivation for playing!  Students will be working from a book “Les Petite Images,” a fun, engaging, and challenging book by Jennifer Linn.  The book is in impressionist style which will be new for most campers. In addition, students will be grouped with other students with similar abilities to learn ensemble and duet pieces.  Students will begin (or continue) their Piano Journey Notebook, which is a scrapbook of their own personal piano journey.  In addition, we will work on theory, rhythm, ear training through age-appropriate games, individual piano coaching, and we will have some guest speakers as well! Finally, the week will culminate in a parent performance at the end of the week!

Practice Makes Perfect Music Studio Teen Intro to Musical Theater Class

Classes take place on Saturdays

Connellsville Area Community Center (110 W. Crawford Ave, Connellsville, PA 15425)

Cost is $20/week

Ages 11-18 years old

Intro Musical Theater class is for ages 11-18. Classes will focus on introducing beginners to musical theater, acting techniques, audition prep, and singing in front of others! Taught By Val Bowman. The class will be at the Connellsville Area Community Center at 10 am on Saturdays. The cost of the class is $20 per week.

FREE Sessions

This is a FREE weekly Jam Session for Teens to come in an rock out with some peers in a friendly and safe environment. We provide a standard backline and a few other instruments, but students are encouraged and welcome to bring their own. You do not have to be a PMP student to attend and we welcome any and all mediums and genres, rock, classical, jazz, spoken word, rap. Come make some music with us!
