Youth Chamber Connection (YC²) is a music program administrated by Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestras (TRYPO) in collaboration with the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra (PYSO), offering chamber music education and community-service performance opportunities to all young musicians in the Pittsburgh and tri-state area.
All students, ages 8 – 19 years old, are eligible for YC². Students are matched based on age, playing and interest level, and schedule availability on either Saturdays or Sundays. Coaches meet with groups weekly, and rehearsal times will be set at a mutually convenient time. Students have the opportunity to perform in as many community performances as they’re able in addition to the winter and spring recitals. Early-Bird Registration is now open through September 10, 2023. Tuition assistance is available, and members of TRYPO or PYSO large ensemble are eligible for a discount.
