Have you noticed any positive aspects of your program(s) being virtual as opposed to a “normal” in-person program?
“Having a virtual program allowed us to be able to involve students from outside of the region. This also allowed flexibility of the schedule and where we can teach.”
Have you noticed any negative aspects/drawbacks?
“Student connectivity issues (no different than occasional transportation issues). Can’t sing/play together in sync.”
What tools have you implemented in running your program(s)? Anything helpful you’ve learned from this that you’d like to share?
“Zoom, Flipgrid, and Screencastify.”
How great to hear that this program went well, and that there were a some positive takeaways, including more accessibility, flexibility, and utilization of online tools. Way to go, PYC!
