Introducing UniSound’s Interim Program Manager
Please join us in welcoming Maggie Richardson, UniSound’s new interim program manager! Maggie comes to us with almost 20 years’ experience in arts management, marketing, and strategic planning. She has worked with a ton of Pittsburgh arts organizations, including The Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Opera, Father Ryan Arts Center, and even did a stint as Visiting Professor at Point Park University’s Sport, Arts, and Entertainment Management (SAEM) program.
In addition to managing administrative tasks for UniSound, Maggie will also focus on creating digital marketing content, facilitating Steering Committee* meetings, and getting to know the hopes and dreams of UniSound’s member organizations.
She’s “Interim” because she will pass the torch to our permanent program manager – as soon as we find that person! (Stay tuned for the job post coming soon.)
She tells us she’s a former “choir kid” and “youth orchestra” kid and has the battle scars to prove it. Outside of her arts administration work, she enjoys singing jazz and working with a children’s choir on the North side of Pittsburgh.
