Meet Our New Program Coordinator
Please help us welcome our new Program Coordinator, Emily Bovan to the UniSound family! Emily is a recent graduate of Point Park University’s Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Management program. During her time in college, she interned with numerous arts organizations around Pittsburgh including the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust (Festival Marketing Intern), the Pittsburgh Playhouse (Marketing Intern), and Pittsburgh Youth Chorus (Digital Marketing Intern).
In her new role, Emily will focus on maintaining a strong relationship with UniSound’s member organizations as well as increase the reach UniSound has to musical families in the Pittsburgh area. She will do this by running the UniSound social media accounts, coordinating UniSound events, and also organizing and running Steering Committee meetings.
Emily is so excited to start her career in the arts with this new role and feels very passionate about UniSound’s mission of bringing out-of-school time musical opportunities to children and teenagers. In her time in High School, Emily was involved in numerous choir ensembles and theater groups as well as concert and marching band. Music has been a big part of Emily’s life and she is excited to hopefully help kids find a passion in music and the arts as well.
